The City of Shreveport will review and, if necessary, audit the expenses.
Getting Started
Upon executing a lease or rental agreement, contact the City of Shreveport Film Office to start the pre-qualification process; application should include, but is not limited to, the total projected budget, estimated total expenditures eligible for the sales tax rebate, estimated living room nights, and a list of vendors and services likely to be utilized; if approved for the rebate the production company will enter into an agreement with the City of Shreveport for the incentive payments.

Upon completion of production in the City of Shreveport apply for payment (no later than 180 days from the completion of production).
Additional Information
Project cap is increased to $165,000 when a production company brings a subsequent production to the City of Shreveport within 12 months of completion of the prior project.

$10,000 increase on the funding cap for productions which utilize a Caddo Parish based post-production company.

Caddo Parish rebate: 1.5% sales tax rebate on expenditures spent outside the city limits of Shreveport in Caddo Parish (application process and rules apply).
