Submit the Film Production Incentive Program Grant Application with project budget/top sheet, script, story board, synopsis or treatment, W-9 and other necessary documentation to the IRRRB prior to production.

Grant award recipients will be notified in writing. Award letters include a Grant Agreement that must be signed by the grantee and other designated parties. The grant becomes fully executed the date the last signature is obtained.

Upon completion of the project submit the Film Production Incentive Program Grant Reimbursement Letter and production invoices to the Office of the Commissioner of the IRRRB.

The IRRRB Grant and Minnesota Snowbate Rebate are stackable.

Production categories must be consistent with the purpose of Minnesota Statue Section 116U.26, Film Production Jobs Program.

Applications are evaluated based on eligibility criteria and are subject to commissioner approval. The Evaluation and Criteria are: Priority #1 - Projected Economic Impact; Priority #2 - Projected Job Creation.

All productions receiving IRRRB reimbursement must permit IRRRB to identify the production in its marketing and promotion; IRRRB request 2-3 production photos from each project for use in IRRRB publications and on its website.

Grant award funds are disbursed upon receipt and approval of invoices substantiating project expenditures. 10% of each invoice amount submitted and approved may be withheld and paid after certification that all film production activities have been completed. Grantee must submit a Reimbursement Letter and Final Report to close out the Grant Agreement and receive final payment.
