Getting Started
A qualified applicant may apply to the Film office for a tax credit. Then they shall be prescribed the form and contents of the application.

Claiming Incentive
Company must be an IN company and structured as such. The credit is used once you file a tax return to offset corporate state tax liability

Credit is used to offset company's IN liability.

Each time that the credit is carried over to a succeeding taxable year, it is to be reduced by the amount that was used as a credit during the immediately preceding taxable year. The credit provided by this chapter may be carried forward and applied to succeeding taxable years for nine (9) taxable years following the first taxable year containing the taxable year for which the corporation awards the credit.

The credit is up to 30% on in state spending. True percentage is up to the discretion of the Director of the Film office.

*The 300M annual funding is for ALL credits available in the state of IN. There has been no set amount from the 300M allocated specifically for this Production Credit.
